We are a team of dreamers
who work ambitiously in order to improve Romania and Europe.
We are a group of professionals from different fields, from almost all age categories, but especially a group of people extraordinarily passionate about Romania and our continent.
Currently, more than 70% of our members have never been part of a political party before joining Volt.
We are a movement that aims to achieve real reforms through the contribution of those who care about the future of European countries: people like you.
We are truly open - anyone who adheres to our values can join. What we all share is the passion to try to change things ourselves.
Together. For Romania - for Europe
Join us now! Feel the vibe of being not only part of a national party, but of a paneuropean community! Get in touch with people from all over Europe who share the same dream. Share your own vision and learn the best practices from each other in order to make Romania an even better place and create a new Europe, where “borders” is just a word.
Our Romanian team is multilingual and, besides Romanian, we also speak English and German.
If not now,
then when?

Ciprian Sandu
Co-President
*1992
Ciprian Sandu, 30, is on his first term as co-president. He has 8 years of experience as an IT engineer and is working for IBM Romania at the moment, as a Cloud Application Developer. It's his first experience as a party member and wants to enrich the political scene with some young talent.
He plans to help consolidate the party by bringing fresh forces in order to bring the Volt Vision to day to day life. Ciprian wants to put forward a new expansion strategy through a model of crowdsourcing in order to encourage members' autonomy and taking on responsibilities.
Together with Mihaela Sirițanu and the other members of the Board, he plans to develop the political program in light of the 2024 Romanian Elections.

After five years of experience in the non-profit sector, I dared to try to change Europe. Why? Because I was born on the fringe of Europe, a country in which thousands see the EU as a means towards a better life, not knowing the fragility of the most visionary European project. My generation went through a financial crysis, it is going through a global pandemic and its future seems challenged by global warming.
Regardless of borders, we share the same hopes but nonetheless the same hardships and challenges. Our problems are cross-countries but our politics are bound. I decided to get involved in consolidating the EU by founding a pan-European movement. Volt Europa wants to fight social inequity between European states and federalize in order to strengthen the collective power of member states. After three years of work in Volt Europa, I dare take this vision to Eastern Europe, in Romania, my home.
